X5 Speedometer not working. My2006 X5 has been having some electrical problems the past few days. My battery mysteriously died 2 days ago, had it jumped, everything worked fine. The next day when I went to start my car the instrument panel wasn't working at all. I replaced the instrument panel fuze and that fixed everything except the speedometer. 2009 328i Heater Blows Cold. Hello all, new to BMW, and the forum. I searched for this issue first, but didn't really find much. My heater worked fine last winter, but this year I'm getting warm air (Not warm enough) from the passenger side vents and cold air from the driver side vents. Heat turned up all the way, all knobs set to the red zone At least on my case i see that at idle temperature is at 150°F and i get heat, after driving for 2-3 minutes the temperature gets to 163°F maybe more and the thermostat opens. Then the temperature drops to 140°F and heat goes away. Temperature stays at 140°F all the time. Im thinking a stuck open thermostat. BMW F30 320ed 03.2013. From the factory I have leather manual adjustment/heated seats. I decided to retrofit: -leather memory/electric/heated driver seat (SM production year 06.2012) -leather electric/heated passenger seat (no SM) Wiring I did: Driver side wiring. When the car senses that the battery is weak or there is a low charge, it will disable convenience features, heated seats being one of them.
